Zach is a Shareholder at Gevurtz Menashe and licensed to practice law in both Oregon and Washington. While his practice focuses on all aspects of family law, he gives special emphasis towards the Collaborative Law approach and the preservation of families during divorce transitions. Zach is a committed and compassionate advocate and enjoys working collaboratively with families to ensure an amicable and equitable resolution.

Born in Portland, Oregon, Zach received his B.S. degree in 1996 along with both his J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Oregon. Prior to joining the legal industry, Zach worked in public accounting for Deloitte, so is equally comfortable in matters of both business and law. After graduating law school in 2001, Zach joined Gevurtz Menashe to pursue a legal career and find solutions within the complex intersections of family law and business.

Zach is currently serving on two local, community boards; the Oregon Club of Portland and the Old Town Chinatown Neighborhood Association. He is also an active member of the Oregon State Bar Family Law Executive Committee. Zach has also held past committee and board positions with Portland Jewish Federation, Jewish Family & Child Services, as well as Sinai Family Home Services. He has also held leadership positions with both the Oregon State and Multnomah County Bar Association(s), Campaign for Equal Justice, the Multnomah County Family Law Group, Donald Simpson Inns of Court, and the Multnomah County Domestic Violence Project, among many others. Zach has also been recognized annually as a Best Lawyers in America as well an Oregon Super Lawyer since 2008, an honor given to no more than 5% of attorneys in the state.
