Jill is a Portland native, with strong roots in the community. She attended Portland State University where she graduated with honors with a degree in psychology. Her interest in working with people and thoughtful problem-solving led her to attend Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland. Jill opened her private practice in 2006 in Corvallis, returning to Portland in 2008 under the name Brittle & Brittle P.C. In 2017, the law firm narrowed it’s focus to solely family law, with Jill at the helm of Jill Brittle Family Law Group P.C..

Jill's family law practice is devoted to helping families reach lasting resolutions in a wide variety of disputes. Her practice is focused exclusively in the area of family law. She was initially trained in the Collaborative Law approach in 2010, and has continued with additional advanced trainings since that time. In her experience, families who choose the Collaborative Divorce Process have a higher level of satisfaction than those who rely on a trial judge to resolve their disputes.

As a member of the Oregon Women Lawyers Foundation Board from 2008-2015, Jill worked with other lawyers in the community to promote access to justice for women and minorities. She also volunteers as a mentor to young lawyers and to young people within the foster care system. Jill is also regularly appointed as a pro bono advocate by the courts for children in high-conflict divorces. She has received the distinction of being named a 2015 Super Lawyer by SuperLawyers Magazine. Jill is a member of the Oregon Association of Collaborative Professionals. Jill is also a parent to two brilliant little girls.
