My practice is unique in method, format, and philosophy. I work with a team of collaborative professionals who bring tailored expertise to the legal, emotional, financial, and child related needs of the family.
I work with couples who:
Want the best possible outcome for their family.
Still care about their partner even though there are challenges.
Want a civil, or even a friendly, relationship in the future.
Want to make informed, educated decisions.
Are willing to do the work necessary to achieve these desires.
This doesn’t mean the decision to uncouple (divorce or separate) was jointly made. Nor does it mean you can’t be hurt or angry. It does mean you want to strive to be your best self even at this stressful time.
I primarily use the Team Mediation approach (also called mediation). Instead of two lawyers being your primary professionals, in this approach a neutral lawyer-mediator (me) will be your primary contact and together we form the nucleus of the team that will support you through the process. We will also decide if you’d like to have your own individual lawyers, and, if so, what role they will play in the process.

She is an international conflict resolution speaker and educator, and she held the prestigious position of being a faculty member for the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals -- training collaborative practitioners and mediators worldwide.
